ESSEC Business School and KING’S College London establish a double-degree program

ESSEC Business School (Paris-Singapore) and the School of Law at King's College London are proud to announce the signing of an agreement on January 14, 2010, in London, concerning the establishment of a double-degree program. This agreement will offer students within the institutions' respective degree programs the possibility of obtaining a double Master degree; namely, an Advanced Master in International Business Law and Management degree from the ESSEC Business School and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree from King's College London.

This double-degree program, which covers two academic years, offers students the following advantages:

- Students are able to undertake complimentary studies concerning the common law system and numerous international law fields at King's College London, one of the United Kingdom's most prestigious law schools, along with specialized courses in business administration and international business law at ESSEC Business School in Paris, considered one of Europe's most elite business schools;

- Each institution will grant a ten per cent (10%) reduction in tuition fees to students enrolled in the double-degree program;

- The institutions will jointly coordinate the approval of students' thesis/dissertation/research essay topics required for each degree in order to create continuity of research endeavour;

- The institutions will establish joint seminars and faculty exchanges in order to enhance a comparative law approach for students undertaking the double-degree program;

- Students will be able to further develop fluency and operational capacity in the English and French languages, particularly pertaining to business affairs;

- All students, including those from King's College London (under 26 years of age), may undertake the ESSEC Advanced Master in International Business Law and Management degree studies while completing a one-year apprenticeship; providing them with high-level professional training within major multinational companies in France with payment of ESSEC tuition fees plus salary by participating companies.
